... casino called Soaring Eagle. It’s obvious that lots of money is spent there. It is owned and operated by the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe and opened in 1998. There is a hotel as well as entertainment venues. The place is open 24/7 and it was packed when we walked through. We stayed at Soaring Eagle RV Resort which is also owned by the Indian Tribe. It offered free shuttle rides to the casino! If only I had money to throw ...

... We had a 4 hour drive ahead of us. Along the way we saw some giant windmills, cattails lined the roads. We crossed into the US at the Blue Water Bridge - I was terrified driving across it - I hate driving on bridges- white knuckles all the way. We had to get some popcorn and a cupcake since we were in need of a snack ...

As we ran across the hotel parking lot to check into our room the violent thunderstorm struck, pelleting us with a mix of rain and hail. The rains drenched Midland through the night and most of Saturday, but Maura and I were happy and dry in our ...

OK so off we go to Iceland. We're leaving hot and humid Michigan for the cool spring like weather of Iceland. Everything went great until we got our first message fifteen minutes before the first leg of our journey telling us our flight had been delayed out of Detroit. But don't worry Delta would take care of it.

So off we flew to Detroit. Once there we checked with two very helpful Delta employee's who told us not to worry even ...
