Well just under a week to go and time for a little reflection. What makes this place special? It is crowded, noisy and full of scenes of great suffering at times.... but it is also full of a sense of community, people coming together and laughing and crying together, it is full of a sense of freedom where people can come and practice a spiritual path and ...

After having bought my ticket, I had about an hour to kill so I went to the cafe that was literally in multiples at this airport. As I was sitting enjoying my snack, a pigeon flew in front of me and landed. It caught me off guard so I started laughing. The guy next to me turned and I asked, "does this always happen?!" Apparently ...

... them from Gomde UK and enjoyed a nice meal with them on their last night here. Thu. Spent the morning practicing by the Stupa and after lunch Dorothy called wanting us to go to the big supermarket by the Hyatt with her. We took a short cut thru the Hyatt and saw how the other half live with a beautiful swimming pool and luxurious lobby... 5 star luxury. Later on over to Shechen monastery with Dorothy where she took us to the room where the famous master ...
