... sunny and it's a nice easy walk to take in the view. Once we got to Manhattan we went to the grand Central Terminal Market to buy some things for our Central Park picnic. Today I flew into JFK where Grammy and Abba picked me up. We ate lunch, picked up Johnny, blah, blah, blah. We went to our hotel, ate an amazing dinner at the 2nd Avenue Deli with matzah ball soup, latkes, blintzes, and lots of other stuff (none of which could quite stand up to the standard of Grandma's cooking, but still was delicious). We also quickly found The Plaza Hotel at the end of Fifth Avenue- which to James' dismay we weren't staying at on our backpacker budget- but we did enjoy a warm lunch in its' backpacker priced basement food hall along with its' Christmas tree in the front lobby.
