... decide to skip it. I feel like this place would be far more poignant if they had retained the simple structures that once dotted this landscape. We fill up our holy water bottles and head out. We drive straight back to Cork, about 3 1/2 hours. We pick up Chris's car at his work and drive to dinner: Franciscan Wells Brewery. The kids sit at a barrel table, the "kids table" they say. We have pizza and beer and relax a while before driving back to Cloughduv. It's been a fun filled ...

Headed to the North-West and the Belleek Pottery factory. This was originally founded by John Caldwell-Bloomfield. He married into the Caldwell family. Went on the tour through the factory. Bought a small piece to bring home in the luggage. Could have spent a lot of money! Next stop was Castle Caldwell. This was in ruins and very overgrown. Travelled the scenic route beside Lower Lough Erne and then headed to Kilkeel where we are staying the night with ...

... talking and he was from Dooblin. That's where he said he was from anyway. I think he meant Dublin but yeah.

But I won't be mean about the accent...it's pretty. Irish accents are. Some of them.

It was very similar to my board at home. Also got a very think wetsuit, which is good in the water but impossible to get on. And a pair of booties.

I must have looked like a right dag carrying a board on my head from the center of town to Tullen Strand.

But where I was camped was worth it.
