... into the hostel and this lovely guy checked me in. I'm staying at the chain of Paddy's here. I stayed at the Derry one the other week.
I checked into Facebook then.
Only to see a status by my fave musican ever, Colm Keegan. It read: "Back in Dublin this week doing a few gigs and then a couple in Glasgow next week".
My dearest Colm. Thankyou for the most useless piece of information ever given.
A few gigs in ...

I went back in for a short while, and then went back up to camp to chuck on my hoody and eat something. An Oreo and beans.

Something that surprises L is that people were paying £6.60 ea just for the pleasure of spending a few hours in the garden, and they were there in large numbers.

... it was fun before that ride.
That ride changed me.
I had a bit of help getting going because I didn’t know how to judge this type of break, but once I was up.
Once I was up, I understood why people love surfing.
I won’t ever forget how free and on-top-of-the-world I felt standing up and looking out at nothing but blue shiny, unbroken water. Water that hadn’t been touched by the power of the wave yet.
It was like gliding on glass! ...
