... that was something I wanted to overdose on. I'm going to look it up, but maybe corned beef is a U.S. thing? Ireland is amazing and we're already planing our next trip. We flew out of Dublin and landed in New York last night, then on to SanFran. We had a screwup with our hotel reservation last night so we were scrambling for a place to stay. We found a 000.000000001-star hotel that I'm certain comes with diseases and drive-bys. But they had a bed and it was ...
It's the Memorial Day holiday, and quite hot even though the temperature is supposed to be 28C. We walked downtown and had a coffee and biscotti, for morning tea. We then drove around to Chris & Aya's, getting there about 11.30am. Chris needed to do some Google work and so he had the day to himself when we went with Aya and the girls, in their car, to Happy Hollow, in San Jose. I could have kissed him! But I didn't. Lol. It was a nice air conditioned drive in a Mercedes Van straight to the hotel. Thank god for the air conditioning because Barcelona is HUMID! I did not expect that at ...
... trip of a lifetime. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't change a thing. And while I still wish it wasn't over, I'm very glad it happened. I know I will never forget any of it. For now though, I'm eagerly awaiting my next European adventure, as well as the Olympics returning to the U.S. I plan on volunteering. Until then, and even then, London 2012 will be my favorite Olympics.
