    ... from Mexico to Alaska in just minutes. We found the trail system very difficult to follow but walked on the little snow and ice they had to the Adventure Centre which was closed although no one ever told you.

    After such exhilaration we spent the afternoon sunning, swimming, reading etc. Dinner tonight was at the Mexican restaurant, Las Casuelas Terraza, which I believe Joan, Gina's neighbour ...

    ... mph wind and by spinning hard it was possible to make 38 mph. This was all very well until we turned across the main canyon and then we were riding in strong gusting crosswinds. I have never held onto a bike as strongly as I did through this section of about 1 mile.

    The ride into Indio where there was a bar-b-q laid on was a doddle by comparison.

    No scurvy!
