... to the village. Our visits are getting more perfunctory, no? Oh well, on we go to Tintagel in Cornwall!

The ruined castle at Tintagel is only about 35 miles from Clovelly. Along the way we passed through Boscastle, which I have only seen on television, usually with a terrifying flood ripping through the middle of village and rescue helicopters hovering overhead. It was lovely to see it all restored and clean (and heaving with visitors). Anyway, as we reach ...

Dear all, We are in Plymouth tonight and head off to Stone Henge (again) and then to London. Then once we arrive at our hotel we will get ready to go out to the West end theatre area of London to see play War Horse! We were to go on a cruise in the Plymouth harbour at 5 pm but the weather was against us as well as the tides so cruiser owner cancelled it. Rain on and off gain today. Saw the ...

A nice easy relaxing flight. 26 degrees, through to passport control via a short queue, but then sent away to find ...

Off we go to our B&B. We are only here one night on route to Portsmouth. In the morning we take a walk down by the sea. They have a nice little pedestrian area where you can stroll along as well. It is another nice day and the dogs are all out playing in the surf. Dogs are prohibited from the beach from May to September, but it is October now and it is play time for puppies.

Lyme Regis (pebble beach) - we woke up and were excited because it was our last few days in England. First we drove over to the pebble beach in our hire car. There we tried to find fossils but it was no use because it was the wrong time of day and the tide was too high. Nevertheless, we had lots of fun at the pebble beaches, because instead of sand their beaches were covered in rocks. We had a picnic there but it was weird because instead of sand the ground was ...
