Today was a rainy, overcast day, but hey, that's spring in Canada.

I got up early and had breakfast. The free breakfast was well stocked. They had a variety of hot breakfast sandwiches (ham, bacon, sausage, etc.), fried potatoes, cereal, pastries, cut fruit, yogurt, waffles, etc. I had a sandwich and a bottle of water. Afterwards I …

Today I awoke to a bright ball of yellow in the sky. Haven't seen that since I left home on Monday.

After breakfast, I left at 9:30 to walk up Elgin Street to get a bus on Albert Street (No. 8) to head west of the capital area to visit the Canadian War Museum. After hopping off the bus, I walked over to the museum. As I approached, two …

I tried to walk it off in the suite. Hopefully it will be OK after breakfast. I used the shower head on pulsing spray on the leg to help with it.

          After breakfast, I …

Today begins my adventure to the capital of Canada, Ottawa. I know this will be just a travel day. My friend John picked me up at 10:30 am to take me to the airport. I knew it would be a long wait until my 3:05 flight. So I took plenty of reading material and knew I would have my main meal of the day at the airport instead of waiting until Ottawa.< …

... control over the St Lawrence River and leave the Canadians without any way of getting around, getting food etc. We had a nice sunset view on the canal that day towards the parliament - BEAUTIFUL! The parliament is very beautiful as well, it consists of three old and pretty buildings (central, left and right building - very creative, I know) and it has pretty much the same government structure as Great Britain. From there we walked towards the ByWard Market which is a ...
