So each morning when I get in, there is barely any space to walk through the kitchen. Although we clean up in the evening before we leave, I'm not sure how the floor gets mopped the refrigerator gets cleaned and all sorts of miscellaneous details are attended to. I just chalk it up ...

The cheddar and leek crumbles washed down with ice cold sparkling Elderflower water were very refreshing. After Shap we headed out of town crossing the railway line to Glasgow, and the M6 - not that pretty and an overture to the afternoon. For the next 2 hours we walked around a quarry and ...

... adrenaline flowing. I enjoyed the ride along the lake, and then into the hills and valleys. It seems to me there are many more sheep than people in the area. Click any of the photos embedded in the text to see other photos of the area. It truly is beautiful. A little like North Carolina, but not foggy and also the English country side is clean. Not closely manicured like the Swiss, but a clean. English gardens abound with all ...
