... Then the memory started to kick in and we reached Lancaster Grove. No 10 was still there. It had received a coat of paint and was now obviously sectioned off by floors. That is there were 3 buttons beside the door. In my day there were 2 bed sitters to each floor. We had the rear of the third floor. Memories came flooding back. Today it is very quiet tree lined street. I don't remember many trees in the past but it was a good area to live ...
... the norm in spite of the near freezing temperatures. They also serve triple shot drinks. Fuuuu. Never again. In spite of this, I the. Spent the following day walking around the 'nice' parts of Newcastle, which were indeed quite beautiful. And well worth a visit. holidaying at Balmoral we thought we would checked out Buckingham Palace. And

in use ...
Not too much to bore you with on this one.
More to just say a big thank you to all that made it on this evening, for the lovely cards and gifts and an even bigger thank you for those who made that extra effort to make it special (you know who you are).
Also - just needed this entry to show the starting point of the trip :)
Love to you all!!
