We walked back to the hotel via Bay Street, which is the road above River Street. There was some eery & ghostly sites on the way back due to the humidity and spanish moss.
... Lucky for us, the marina was located next to a cute neighborhood with several decent restaurants. Even better, our Savannah daughter lived within walking distance of the marina which made things very convenient as our son and our other daughter and her husband were able to stay with her.
