      ... Beach for a quick lunch, on our way to meet Gary & Marianne in Jacksonville, Florida where they are picking up their new motorhome. The bars along there serve 'roadies', meaning you can ask for your drinks to take away. It was also the first time we saw southern stem boats, painted in classic white with red paddles.

      ... time to miss all of the St. Patrick's day parade (claimed to be the United States' second largest). But just in time to see the after effects of a raucus morning party and with enough daylight left to celebrate with some old friends (Hi John, LoPo and Connor!). Then for dessert they did not have what we wanted because the private party had eaten up all the desserts so the chef made us something special and on the plate was written “You are always welcome here” and then they drew around the plate with oil and SET IT ON FIRE!
