... waiting for boys to return from a ride gave me some good tips on some shops to look out for for clothing etc, as well as a good strip if restaurants to eat at a block from our hotel.
We headed off to them for dinner straight from the park that evening. Boys had pizza, Gav had pasta and I had a Asian chicken salad that was close to the best meal for 6 weeks.
Back to hotel ready to rest up for our final day at the parks. ...

We toured the school and area and dined a couple of local restaurants. The three of us took an interesting guided tour of Hollywood and 'where the stars live'. ... go to Long Beach I made my way to the Queen Mary for my overnight stop. The ship is magnificent with all it's history and it is a great way to spend a night and I ate in the Promenade Cafe having New England Style Clam Chowder followed by beer-battered fish tacos. A mainly sunny day with some cloud at the coast with. The high temperature being 82F at the start of the day cooling to 68F near Long Beach. Just one more full day ...

... But it was a fun ride.

Again using the FastPass we hopped on the California Screamin roller coaster. It was long and extreme with an upside down loop and lots of crazy turns. I was screaming my head off but strangely enough loved it. It was Joel’s favourite ride and insisted we go on it again as there was only a 10 minute wait. I shouldn’t have agreed to it as the second time wasn’t as good and I felt bit sick.

    Once on solid ground ...
