Friday morning the sun was out and we headed to the beach. We had a great setup and an awesome day at the beach! Of course we're all wiped out now but ready to do it again tomorrow!
Yesterday was only a 3 hr drive which was so easy after it long ones! We stopped twice to kill some time, once at the Purple Penguin roadside food stand for Russ to get a Philly cheesesteak and second time for beer. The Purple Penguin had an awesome old school metal playground ...

On the way back to the RV we made time to stop by some of the newly built outlet stores along the street. We found a few "must haves" before making it back for a short nap and to cool off. We're not big fans of huge resort hotels, but we booked this room using the iPhone Hotel Tonight app and got a beautiful King Suite - a huge room, windows on two sides overlooking the boardwalk and the ocean. We booked it on the same day that we arrived for the whopping rate of $49 (plus taxes)!!
I don't know if the accolades should be directed at the hotel or at Hotel Tonight -- probably both! The hotel deserves the credit for charging us only $5 for parking (free would be nice, but is unheard of, I think, at these sorts of hotel/resorts).
