We're not big fans of huge resort hotels, but we booked this room using the iPhone Hotel Tonight app and got a beautiful King Suite - a huge room, windows on two sides overlooking the boardwalk and the ocean. We booked it on the same day that we arrived for the whopping rate of $49 (plus taxes)!!
I don't know if the accolades should be directed at the hotel or at Hotel Tonight -- probably both! The hotel deserves the credit for charging us only $5 for parking (free would be nice, but is unheard of, I think, at these sorts of hotel/resorts).

Today was anything BUT typical. Little did I know that this arena has been the home of the Miss America pageant for many years. It was an arena, though it seemed to take longer than most arenas to set up. I ended up waiting until nearly 2PM before even starting on our first LED screen.
As we knew it was going to be a long wait, I decided to go outside to the Boardwalk and look around. ...

... enjoyed! Our place in Atlantic City is very nice, it felt great actually unpacking our bags into drawers since were staying here 4 nights! We had a great night my parents, Jason, Amy, Vic, Cameron and Noah. With 3 units, 7 adults and 4 kids ages 3 to 6, were a loud, fun ...
... laser light show performed on the boardwalk. The show takes place on the fašade of the Boardwalk Hall building. The show was so worth the wait! It outlined music styles from the 20's, 50's, 80's and today. The building had huge columns and the lights made it look as though they were moving, and at one point crashing down. It was a great ending to our day! Can't wait for another day in Atlantic City tomorrow. Look out beach, here we come! ...
... which is a beautiful area and holds childhood memories for LH. The next day we drove up to our last beach, Atlantic City, New Jersey via the ferry. Here we relaxed on the beach, walked up and down the boardwalk and had a lovely meal before we departed to make our way to Philidelphia. 4 states in 4 days....is that normal? Good bye beaches. ...
