    ... going to happen today.

We went home for a while, still trying to get more laundry done and then decide to go to a nice restaurant in the neighboring village of Lisnaskea, about 8 km away. Good dinner and home. It is late and we are still drying clothes!!!!

Our landlady, Lillian, is a treasure. The cornmill is a wonderful accommodation, I wish we had a couple of more days in the area.

... The tire has a hole in the sidewall, so the repair kit is not going to work. A tow truck is on the way. The people drive me back to the car. I'm sure they were getting a chuckle out of the crazy Americans, but they were very friendly and nice. They even came back a second time to check on us.

We sit in the car for about an hour waiting for the tow truck, finally it arrives. Oh, oh, I see a problem, it is a single cab truck and ...

Another beautiful day begins. I delay my departure slightly in case there's fog inland, but there isn't.

It's only a short drive today, to the visitor centre of the Glenveagh National Park, where there's a flat walk alongside a lake and past a castle, which is likely to have a decent surface. After the trials of Slieve League yesterday, it should be heaven ....

There's a large car park at the visitor centre and also an area for buses, where a tourist bus is disgorging ...

... there's more up and down between me and this unexciting summit! Go for it? Not on your nelly! Just not worth it. Besides, it's lunchtime.

Not far below where I am now is the top of that tempting Pilgrim Path. I weigh up the advantages and disadvantages of using it. I haven't got a map and the PP will entail a road walk at the end of the day with, probably, a bit of a climb back to the car. Going back will mean slogging through all the boulders and bog again and ...

I get up to see a totally clear, sunny morning. And that's the way it stays - not a cloud in the sky all day.

After the lengthy walk yesterday, it seems a good idea to do far less today. So the plan is for long drive around the coastline of north-west Donegal, with plenty of stops along the way. Following the coast road isn't difficult around here as it has been designated, for tourism purposes no doubt, the "Wild Atlantic Way" and there are plenty of signs ...
