... a Sunday. We drove further west to Port Rush, which had more shops open, and stopped for a round of large hot chocolates while Jo-ann wrote on the postcards. We made good use of the free wifi to find accommodation for the night. A search on Booking.com around Ballyshannon showed a number of available hotels from hostels to resort spas. We selected a B&B called Seaview and discovered after making the booking that it was a little off our intended track. Oh well, ...

The camp site we stayed in was ON the border - the Irish Free State/the Republic of Ireland was over the fence.

Drove to the city of Londonderry. Originally called Derry, the city only became Londonderry when the London Livery companies set up branches there on the 1800s.

We woke up early and headed to the beach again to do some rock climbing. It was my first time doing "real" rock climbing, by that I mean not at a mall. It was really fun and very terrifying. Another long drive ahead. Overall, it was a really good and relaxing weekend. Exactly what I needed. ...

... boat around the islands off the coast. It was so pretty. It was also frightening being on this tiny speed boat cruising around. After this, we went back to the house. We then got ready for dinner. After dinner, we had an Irish dancing class. It was fun to learn some traditional Irish dancing, even though I was horrible at it. We then went back to the house and talked until late in the night with some of the people from the house. ...

... workshop. This was just okay seeing as the only thing I remember is how to count to three and the number seven (shart...no joke). Then we waited about 45 minutes to learn how to do some origami. This actually ended being kind of fun because there were only 5 of us and the person instructing us. It was fun to get to chat with some local people from the town. We then went and got some quick dinner and headed down to one ...
