... so far as it is right on the river (the name gives that away) and has some very fine rooms. However, we did our best to make the hotel room look like a Chinese laundry as we needed a few fresh clothes. I'm not sure what the owners thought of our assortment of clothing strategically draped in variously parts of the bathroom.

So carrying straight on from the last blog entry it was 7.45am when we landed at Heathrow. The train to get from the gate to the arrivals hall wasn't working so we had to walk.
