    ... the roof… Anyway the drive to J-Bay was only 45 minutes (thank god) and we quickly explored the town. J-Bay is supposed to be one of the ten best surf spots on the planet so of course there are dozens of surf shops selling gear. There was a store selling wetsuits for 250 rand (35$) which is super inexpensive, however they were out of my size so I held off on buying one.     ... every day. Work started at 7:30, we would go over to the shop and the first job was to set all the plates out on the 4 freezers in the prep room (there were specific plates and places to put everything).
