We signed up for a half-day cooking class which included a trip to the local market (let by Hip-Hop, our Vietnamese guide), a boat ride, cooking lessons and a delicious meal of Vietnamese cuisine. Oh yeah, we also rented bicycles and found the beach for some relaxation. The first of many more beaches for us in Vietnam.

It turned out we were travelling with 4 others from our hostel to Hoi An who were all staying at the same place as us which was great fun! We were practically the only ones on the bus (may have had something to do with the floods and only nut cases going south!) Even so it was a long uncomfortable sleepless journey and we were glad when it ended...
