That night I parked up in a service station at Lugos after dark, feeling claustrophobic, dirty, disorganised, and slept in my clothes with the benefit of at least being able to stretch out... It was quite fun being nowhere though, slightly lost in transit getting a chocolat chaud from the empty cafe, falling into a cautious sleep for the first time in my van.
