... mineralogy, palaeontology and zoology. The museum is a world-renowned centre of research specialising in taxonomy, identification and conservation. Very worth a visit too both if you ever visit London. Jumping on the bus for the short trip to Kensington Palace and a tea the Wills, Kate and baby George. hahaha. The part open to the public is very interesting. It has been home to members of the royal family since 1689. The palace is split in ...

Wonderful ride over an old arched bridge....down to the Sepentine amongst the trees. Weaving past geese ...

The yoghurt wasn't as good as Paros, but the loukoumia was a favourite with H, as was the fresh orange juice. We spent the morning before our sailing trip exploring the small streets of Imerovigli (remember the very helpful lady at the chemist) before having lunch at Estia: return of the tomato balls (Santorini tomatoes are supercharged with flavour and nothing short of ...

... no peeling paint, no pot holes, everything looks clean and spic.

It took about half an hour to reach the zoo- it is not far as the crow flies, but the lanes are so narrow that it is impossible for two buses to pass, let alone a bus and a tractor. These leads to a lot of stops, where one vehicles squashes itself into the wall while the other squeezes past, very carefully.

It did not cost much to enter the zoo; perhaps $20 in $AUD, which surprised ...
