... events since Crimbo . I was able to let those moments go though and eventually ( despite still regularly falling asleep) was able to find away to really meditate, always standing though. It is really really tough as all our minds are like drunken monkeys and in general we never stop to think that we can actually have control over what we think and what life we would like. I would recommend it to all, although I have now had 3 days without meditating due to drunken ...

After each long break, the bell goes for a little longer than needed and always 15 minutes early to ensure we were all on time. Monks are never late don't ya know?! The town itself is in no way a tourist area and so we got quite a few stares, waves and people constantly beeping their horn at us. At first a bit daunting, and i must confess i dreaded going out at first not really appreciating the attention my light hair and European looks were getting. But of course that did not stop Thomas dragging me out of ...

... fish, really cool. The other dive we did was down to a WW2 American war ship. Unfortunately for us the visibility wasn't great and there were loads of Japanese (they are everywhere) taking photos of everything they have no quarrels with moving you out of the way so they can get to where they want to go so rude! There were again some amazing big fish hiding in small spaces of the ship. After this I'm now an advanced adventurer diver (haha) watch out ...
