    Black & white tiled floor, hard mattress, cold shower but clean and cheap so good enough..

    ... repeated the chore between us as there was no talking, who was to know. At 10 the gong rings out again and it is back for another hour sitting meditation with all in the hall , then over to a standing hall for standing and walking meditation with the little Yoda dude " it's da way of da nature" he says.     ... me slightly cool. *DONG* and the 15 minute warning bell starts going off again. After each long break, the bell goes for a little longer than needed and always 15 minutes early to ensure we were all on time. Monks are never late don't ya know?! So, back to meditation hall we go for part 2 of the lecture we started that morning. 30 minutes go by and meditating we did go. Followed by another session of zombie inducing walking meditation.     ... pot plants by the door for the key. He finds a few keys but none fit. He's on the phone then drives off. We wait again. He returns with more keys and lets us in. We have the front room and it looks as good as the pictures, lovely crisp white bedding and soft white towels - always a bit concerned when you get such a cheap price but all is well.     ... the staff knew Thomas personally whether he had been, learning new shiny Thai words, playing pool, teaching English or his Constant "Sa-wat-dee kraup!" in the mornings to every person he saw. He tried his best to make as many friends as he physically could.
    The hotel itself is beautiful, but once again i unfortunately booked us into a 'Thai business hotel' and once again we were practically the only non Thai people in the whole of the hotel. It didn't bother us ...

    ... hangovers. After another late night I did my first two open water dives in the sandy mango bay and Japanese garden. The fish are stunning here so colourful and loads of them. Visibility is awesome too, there are sting rays preying on the bottom on the ocean and various different corals. After two late nights and diving I was shattered and in bed by 8 what a loser hey.
