... too many Euro coins is a more common problem (one I now have), given I only bought one thing all day I had nothing of the sort. Fortunately someone made change for me and I was told to get a ticket at a machine that was found to be broken. ... they were from the States....I was guessing Midwest. We learned they were "misplaced Californians" who now live in Bella Vista, Arkansas!! They flew to Amsterdam last Friday....out of Tulsa! Can you believe that? It was a very fun encounter.....leave it to John to have that kind of luck! If I'd wanted to talk to someone they would have ended up being snooty Germans or French who looked like I smelled! Oh well....that's why I keep hanging around with him!
