Thai House Beach Ko Samui

... down through the trees and Jen tried to persuade me that I wanted to go on it but I pointed out that I was wearing the wrong shoes, I certainly would have been up for it if properly shod (I don't think; the prospect of climbing up sheer ladders to a rickety platform in a swaying coconut tree or dangling from a somewhat suspect piece of string with no sign of a safety barrier brings me out in a cold sweat, there's a limit to the range of new experiences I'm willing to take on during this trip!)

... on to the beach. the weather has been not great for the last week or so, overcast and very muggy (not that i have got anything to complain about from what I am hearing back home) but the sea is rougher and stopped us from doing some island trips on the boat.we are hoping to go on a boat tomorrow to a national partk and do kayaking. ... for the guesthouse has a DVD player, for those lazy nights, as there was not much night life there. Victoria and Joey, running the place are the nicest people, really friendly and always happy to sit and drink/ chat/ sing along with you.
We found a cheap restaurant up the road, wher ethe owner was very amused by Victorias request for Pad-Thai but with yellow noodles :)

Up at 8am on a cloudy morning, breakfast, finished packing, checked-out and in taxi for 9.45.
