... We went to the charlie bungalow hut, where we were a bit disappointed by the resort. The bungalows were old, and for some weird reason, the cleaning staff used our bungalow's deck as a temporary cleaning material storage station! At least, the beach was a few meters away and looked amazing. We first went for lunch, and on the way back, I enquired about the possibility of diving with my sprained ankle. The first dive shop said it was bad idea! I was so sad I even shed my first ...

Today we moved on to Ao Nang. Before we left the room we could hear lots of music and noise from outside, we went and stood on the balcony and there was a huge parade walking through the Main Street, mostly children but some adults. It reminded me of being in guides and doing church parade, just with a lot more people. We had no idea what it was all about but there were children walking with flags, done dressed like princesses, some children in cars decorated with flowers and then some ...

... without it? I don't even want to go there.

But we have to move on, the last boat leaves the island at 5 and we don't fancy spending the night here, so we say our farewells and look for our boatman, but he has gone. Once the boat is full away they go, but it isn't a problem we just get in line for the next one. We board and try to ignore the 6 inches of water slopping around in the bottom of the boat and take our seats. This time I am hopeful we ...

... so we decided to take him home, Joe came with us and we met everyone back at the place for another post drinks session. We got to bed at some time between 4-5 (I'm a bit blurry on the exact details of all these nights for some 'unknown' reason). Avril still hadn't turned up and Joe was freaking out a bit, but it turned out fine apart from the fact she slept the night in their hotel lobby and didn't get in to the room until around ...
