Thailand - The Wild Option!
Left Kuala Lumpur hotel at 9am for a 12.25 flight to Bangkok. All ran smoothly until I arrived as there was no-one to pick me up!! After madly searching for the co-ordinator, and buying a phone card and failing miserably in getting in touch with anyone I opted for the "get a taxi to the hotel myself" option.

Hi Folks, well I arrived at my new hotel, was a bit of a step down from the five star luxury that I had become accustomed to, but hey wasn't too bad. So I've just had three days in Bangkok, so much to see and do. Visited all the temples, emerald budha, reclining budha, elephant budha......they are very respective of their religion and peoples here …
Bangkok and out of here!
Cough, cough - splutter splutter... back in stinky old Bangkok!! At least we were acclimatised and the hotel had a pool! We only had a day to see things, so hot-footed around to a few places: the Grand Palace area was amazing, so much detail in the older parts - incredible colour and intricate mosaics, the different layers of the various centuries …

Back at Hotel De' Moc and no rooms available yet. Killing time, lounging around. A huge group of us went to Kho San Rd. for lunch. Others pampered themselves with a fish spa, I just went back to the hotel to do laundry. Met the new group and left them to hang out with the old. Kho San Rd. it was again. Dinner then to the Rooftop Bar where a live …

And so to my final destination, Thailand. As is the norm now, my flight was delayed a couple of hours...so I hit the bar!! Gave me time to buy Debbie a present...hope she likes it but if not, there's always Ebay. In fact she'd probably make a profit!!! First impression of Bangkok....traffic.
