Its a fairly short hop by bus from Hoi An to Hue. En route, we unexpectedly stop at Marble Mountain, a town that specialises in stone sculptures made from the local marble. Arrived at midday and dropped off at Thai Binh 2 Hotel. We were showed a room on top floor, great view of city. Hue is a surprisingly big place after the quaintness of Hoi An, finding the backpacker (cheapskate) area we come across Thai Binh hotel and 4 of us share a room together.
