        ... to a halt!

        Went back to the Apple Shop & after much waiting around & deliberating on their behalf, they decided to give me a new iPhone! Yay! Shame it's locked (as I found out later) and doesn't work with my Optus SIM ... another trip is required!

        ... Nikita that it wouldn't splash at night. It did. Finally, it was the Olympic roller-coaster time, with its five rings ensuring five upside down moments.
