... for another fifteen minutes, Liam and I decided to "plead the fifth" if we were caught. Surely we couldn't have been the first to make that mistake. We arrived at Dachau station and had to take another bus out to the concentration camp, which was packed full of Americans. ... usual circuitous route (which is also on the way to the camp and museum) took about 10 minutes, and it was strange to see a full moon peeking through sparse white clouds.

The "light rail" train was waiting on Track 1, with the diesel engine quietly purring. Although the train is diesel powered, I was thinking that it would be ideal for some short routes in Canada. It left right on time and I was relieved that the Conductor just looked at my ticket and ...

... that Germans really do seem to enjoy children and are constantly making kissing sounds toward Clara. Even though she was up and down the halls, and I was embarrassed and constantly apologizing, they did not seem to mind. We finally made it to Munich (or "Carolin's World" as Grace calls it) around 12:30pm. When we arrived, we walked from the train station to the town center where Carolin was waiting for us. We then ate lunch at the Hofbrauhaus. There was a ...
