... a brownie cake, which we had also seen on some restaurant menus. It’s a brownie base with a thin layer of dulce de leche on top, then covered in meringue. Dulce de Leche is a thick caramel sauce or Nestle condensed milk mixed with butter and sugar. We found it in all things sweet in Argentina, it was almost like a subsititute for cream. ... went for lunch at 5pm, to a seafood restaurant and again had too much food! We almost finished it!

On the way home we saw someone in their car at the traffic lights, drinking mate. Graciela told us it’s illegal to drink mate when driving, this is because it’s distracting.

We ended up falling sleeping on the road back to Villa Gesell while Graciela and Jose Luis had some interesting conversations at the front of the pickup ...
