Fished yesterday
wow! We caught 3 large Sailfish and what I call a BIG Mahi Mahi. Jeffry caught the Mahi Mahi and aSail and I caught 2 Sails. They are all so beautiful. Could not bring them in the boat and hold them for pics. Our Captain says they will not survive for several reasons. We do not want to harm them, so we bring them to the boat and release them alongside. I'm doing this on the IPad and cannot up load pisc. ...
A day and night in Jaco!

The next morning the alarm clock rang at 6:45 and we were out the door heading for the bus stop by 7. The plan was to make the journey across in one day! We would have to catch a bus heading to San Jose first and then transfer over to the Caribbean Bus terminal in San Jose to catch another bus to Viejo. So we bought our 5$ bus tickets and we were on our way to San Jose by 9! Lata Jaco!

Lounging at the resort and on the beach
... on first, followed by a sprinkling of something white and powdery that may have been malt, and topped with a dollop of a sweet white liquid, that I think was condensed milk. She gave us both a spoon and a straw. It tasted pretty good, but I'm still not sure what it was.

Sunday kayaking part 2 and lots of relaxation

Classes - the first day of yoga and photography
... Very much a tourist town due to the tons of young people who come from all over the world to surf. Almost every shop has someone who can speak English, and many of the stores have Colones (local currency is 500 colones to 1 American dollar) and American $ price tags. Souveneir shops are everywhere. There is a Pizza Hut and a KFC. I ate food from the supermarket today. I am sure later in the week IŽll splurge on some local restaurants.
