Finally back on route, found the falls but the river was so swollen after recent rains I was dubious about going into the main flow & getting washed down to the lower pool from which there was no way out except down. Went in at the smaller side falls which were more sedate.

... the Moutain of Death.

The Moutain of Death is a mountain range on the InterAmerican Highway that got that name long before cars were around when people used to cross this moutain range by foot, horse, or donkey. Had to change plans as there was no space at Sirena Ranger Station. Margarita was able to organise alternative route into Corcovado
Got Marvi bus to Sierpe. Stayed in good cabinas and had excellent meal in their restaurant

... i will build for my self someday. I've been here 4 days and I've gone to the beach twice and this awesome waterfall on the property. Hense the name Cascada Verde (green waterfall) There are tons of grandens all around this palce with tons of wacky stuff growing. I spent the last week helping build 3 homes in the south Costa Rican town of Buenos Aires. It is a 5 hour bus ride south of San Jose! I met a guy on the bus from Montreal who was also going to work on the same Habitat houses. His name was J.P.! I stayed with a host family that spoke very little English! There was also a 20 year old guy, Tim, from Australia there. He spoke quite good ...

... Quetzales uns sehr symphatisch war. Futter geht eben vor ... Und so beginnt die Voellerei am Buffet des Hotels und spaetestens beim Dessert wird uns bei suessen Fruechten fast schlecht ... der Abend war dann sprichwoertlich gegessen ... haetten wir doch nur die Cabinas genommen ... Das Luxushotel glaenzte anschliessend noch mit einem Stromausfall und so war zeitiges Schlafen bei recht frischen Temperaturen in 2200m Hoehe angesagt.
