      Today we decided to visit Thomas Edison and Henry Ford's winter estates on our way to Tampa. They were neighbours and friends for a number of years and even worked together on sustainable ways of living and making products. The estates were beautiful. They were situated on the water with beautiful big homes and fantastic gardens. Seeing our Dad built a 1935 Ford we thought it would be interesting to visit.       Had a change of plan during a wifi excursion to the local McDonalds and decided to head south a day early and treat ourselves to a motel for the night.
