Today was planned as a rest day, so we slept in, had a swim, and a big home cooked breakfast. This took us until mid day! The afternoon was more swimming - in the rain as another big lightening storm passed over us, DVDs and the odd snooze. Timing it just right we walked to the end of the pier and caught ...

Had a change of plan during a wifi excursion to the local McDonalds and decided to head south a day early and treat ourselves to a motel for the night. Reasoning was that we would have to be taking the tent down in the dark tomorrow and stressing about getting to Fort Meade by 10 am. A check on booking.com led us to the Best Motel in Lakeland so we booked that. Returning to the campsite we took the tent down ...

... standards) part of Sichuan province called Huili. I experienced a lot of different aspects of China, not all good and not all bad. Still, it was an overwhelmingly positive overall experience. On the bad side, there were difficult to deal with people (I probably shouldn't go into much detail about that), being constantly treated as a celebrity, not understanding the vast majority of what was being said around me, sleeping on a wooden board, being eaten by mosquitoes all night, ...
