Today being the 6th was what is known as King for the Day. It marks the end of festive season as kids return to school next Monday. For breakfast we ate a type of bread bun either sweet or savoury which is like a Baker's Delight pull apart. Inside one of the rolls of bread is a small plastic king figurine. ... and innovate and improvise and its very rewarding somehow. It feels creative and I have loved it. Its D Day! In a manner of speaking, probably not quite on a
par with the bravery. endurance and sheer brilliance shown by the wonderful men in
1944, but it feels like it to me as my kitchen in Chalet Runca takes on the air
