Kaikki ottavat taman myos tosissaan joten ulkkikset ...
Pagudpud, Philippines pvdyck... the sun was hiding beneath the thick white clouds over the sea. Nevetheless, the sea was so blue and the sand so white. The waves was bigger and stronger than the ordinary so we didnt get the chance to soak ourselves in the waters. So we content ourselves to taking pictures. And just before noon we left the resort to begin our sojourn down to Ilocos Sur. Next stop is Batac.
Pagudpud, Luzon, Philippines mygiobroLess than an hour drive from Burgos is the town of Bangui now known for its Wind Farm. Bangui used to be a peaceful but scenic coastal town with a rich colorful histroy. With the construction of 15 Vestas wind turbines standing 70 meters tall and arranged on a single row stretching on a three-kilometer shoreline off ...
Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines mygiobro... tallest and oldest lighthouse, the Cafe Bojeador Lighthouse. On top of the lighthouse, one can see the unlimited view of the South China Sea. It is said that the said lighthouse reaches as far as Taiwan. From Burgos, we proceeded to the town of Bangui where the gigantic Wind Farm is located.
Burgos, Ilocos Norte, Philippines mygiobro... family, we had a good look in the wardrobes but there were no shoes left behind! Ferdinand Marcos was born up here and they still really revere him, even tho he robbed the people blind! Last stop was Pagudpud where we relaxed on the beautiful Saud beach, it was a beautiful place and I wished we had longer there, even tho I got a jellyfish sting on my bum!
Loag, Philippines squeak_1912... our travel period) We traveled to Pagudpud throughout dawn as we were advised to escape daytime traffic along the long stretch of national highways that were going to tackle - a smart tip! As the normal travel time by private car/van would take about 12 hours, we got ourselves ready for it. At 11:30pm that Wednesday night, we set off for the north. Our handydandy E-Z MAP PHILIPPINES TRAVEL ...
Pagudpud, Vigan, San Fabian, Angeles, Philippines gjcrisostomo... make new friends, send a postcard... Then off to your next destination. At dusk, find a safe haven. Set up tent, get your sleeping bag, cook a meal, write a journal, draw a map & gaze at the stars. Be amazed. It doesn't take much to feel joy & wonder in this world. While you fall asleep, smile & feel richly blessed. For tomorrow you're on the road again.
