From our mooring along the canal, we travelled a few kilometres and crossed the Libron River. Seemed odd going in a canal that runs over the top of a river, but this has happened a few times now, Beziers being the last. Up (feeling very stiff after yesterdays effort) , breakfast and in the van at 8am to drive approx 100km to the Tour race start in St Gaudens.

Excitement built as we the crowd in front of us could hear and then see them coming!! And then around the corner appeared a group of very good horsemen and women with a few bulls running in between them (to protect the crowd) and a group of local boys and girls running behind trying to pull the tails of the bulls! ... to be.... we started looking for an exit. Easier said than done, we could hardly move and had to just wander trapped in a sea of visitors. The toilets were also an experience (not to be repeated!) - the toilets 'self cleaned' and auto-flushed.... disgusting does not quite do it!
