... they themselves are traveling. If you're boring, you're most likely do not want to travel. Since everyone is in the same boat, we have the same perspectives and values. You know automatically everyone likes to travel, has great stories, and has overall a really fun personality. I can say hands down that out of the hundreds of people that I have met, maybe only 2 were boring. So what, you just move on and find more ...
Lodeve, Languedoc-Roussillon, France jdcabanelWe left Barcelona, Spain early this morning and arrived off the coast of Leucate Plaga around 10 AM. The beach here is rated as the best bare beach in the world and we were here to participate. The weather was cool and overcast so there weren't many people out and no one was naked. We took a tender to shore and chilled for a while before returning to the yacht, disappointed that the weather had dashed our hopes of the perfect ...
Leucate, Languedoc-Roussillon, France mylifesjourney... two weeks (I was planning on staying for 12 days). So instead I've mapped myself out a really nice road trip throughout Spain, where I will stop in Valencia, Granada, Malaga, Gibraltar, Sevilla, Cordoba, Madrid, and Pamplona. This should take me about the same time, so I'd have approximatelty 2 1/2 weeks. Hopefully my next post will be from a strange and foreign Spanish city.
Lodeve, Languedoc-Roussillon, France jdcabanelWell, finally - after a false start setting out to pick up friends from Pau airport a day early! - first night: moored up alongside the Canal du Midi, just south of Beziers. Some very noisy ducks for company... Bit of a gloomy one weather-wise. Rained last night, but forecast suggests brightening up gradually as day goes on. Slowing our departure from ...
Villeneuve-lès-Béziers, Languedoc-Roussillon, France marcdolav... loved me and couldn't wait to see me (I can't blame them). I only have one week until I leave for Portugal, so I really don’t have time to sit around and feel sorry for myself (Boo Hoo Hoo, I have a whole year of vacation and I am going to Asia, poor me…right, pffrtt). So that’s that. As time goes by, I promise that my blog will get more and more interesting.

Lodeve, Languedoc-Roussillon, France jdcabanelDistance covered: 72.5 miles

It can't be a bad if you manage 41 MPH and diss Jesus by copying his famous pose in a church! It also only dawned on us that we have been cycling through countless Vin yards and NOT stealing. So, grapes soon accompanied every meal. Don't judge me man. This is for charity.

Our spirits were high because we could finally see the sea. We camped on an over ...

Hérépian, Languedoc-Roussillon, France ethansamjencolJuly 5-7, 2007 We left Cinque Terre on Thursday hoping to catch the 12:11 train after we had the best pastries in town at il Pirati de Cinque Terre, which is a small Tratorria/Patisseria at the beginning of the town road. The owner was quite serious and funny about his pastries and the art of eating Italian! After a quick breakfast, we were off to catch the 12:11 train back to La Spezia only to find out that the train was delayed 20 minutes. The day before, our train was canceled all ...
Béziers, France earlgirl94A morning of shame. Chris and I trudge to a supermarket. Spent ages choosing a good cheap book. Quite surprised that Chris isn't whining. Eventually get to the checkout and get pulled over by the security. ****. Knew Chris had pocketed an envelope. Open up his bag and out comes a map of Spain too. So what happens now? Handcuffs and prison cells? Criminal record? They take details and us pay for the map. So where do you live? Here ...
