The Hotel at Terminal City Club
Travel Blogs from Vancouver
So here I am, it's 3:30am and I’m sitting in our suite at The Hotel at Terminal City Club (thank you for the free upgrade!) in Vancouver and I can’t sleep, what better time to start my very first blog.
On Sunday I had the brilliant idea that rather than get up at 5:00am and try to put the finishing touches on closing down our …
Sea-to-Sky on up the Pacific Coast from Vancouver and Whistler, British Columbia, Canada
I found out you can do a lot in two days on the ground in Vancouver and Whistler, British Columbia, but you really need four days on the ground to see the top 10 adventures. Of course, these days will be filled with non-stop fun. When I arrived in …
Almost made it through!
Thought I'd done a good job not loosing anything but when I went to pack my bag this morning realised that I forgot to pick up my thermorest from the truck on Sunday. Made an easy choice on what not to bring back though. The rest of the packing was fine though the bike bag will be a little over - we will see how that goes at check in.

Glad to see that the plans that they had for the Expo grounds came to fruition. Very happy to have Shervone from Trinidad and Tobago as our server, had a lovely dinner and look forward to more. Back out on the deck, and yes, we're still sitting at Canada Place. When we signed up for ...

It may seem sad, but we're actually happy and ready to get back to normal life for a while. Covering as much ground as we did in 15 months is exhausting (not that I'm complaining) and it's time to take a break. The hotel was quaint. I must say I was ecstatic when I walked into the room. I was expecting a little one-room studio but was pleasantly surprised with my spacious suite. There was so much room/space I didn't know where to sit or rest. I stayed in my "living room" and watched Chuck Connor on that old western show I can't recall before going to bed the first night. I gazed at the view outside my top-floor room and then discovered in the morning I have a harbor view too! Wow! I received chocolate and three bottled water every day of my stay and room service and meals were impeccable. It was more than I expected. The only downer for me was no snack machines in the hotel at all. I don't know what that's about.
