We woke up to another amazing Turano breakfast of espresso, freshly baked bread, prosciutto, and cheeses before hitting the road for Taormina, Sicily. We could see the volcano in the distance and it was smoking and people go to the crater of it.

At the ampitheatre we met some people who were Aussies too.

We drove to another town that was built on top of a big rock really high on a mountain and it looked super cool.

Although the theatre itself has been modernised for use with a blue stage and plastic chairs - not cool.

We enjoyed our walk through Taormina's gardens.

It had lovely, well maintained, lush gardens and many interesting buildings that looked like treehouse temples.

We thought Taormina was high but we drove higher to another cute town called Castelmola.

... restaurant called la cisterna del Moro and it was definitely the right decision. We had to wait about 20mins to get a seat out on the terrace but it was worth the wait. We had a nice little entree and then had a lasagna and cannelloni - they were delicious.
