Dubrovnik was right up there with Malta in terms of amazing sights and history. You could spend days here reading and researching its history. Croatia has such a diverse history that you could not cover it all in the short time that we were there. Vicki and I climbed and walked the old city walls, which was a challenge in itself. It was bloody hot, and there are **** loads of ...

This place is defiantly somewhere that we would visit ...

We had two hours here and mainly for shopping but we strolled along the Main Street and then returned along a little back street filled with shops. The area is renowned for lemons and so there was lemon soaps, lemon cookies and of course limoncello After some time in Sorrento we continued to Pompeii, we had ...

Messina Italy

Messina was our first stop on the cruise and was a little bit disappointing. It was quite a dirty port, with lots of graffiti and very dusty. We walked around for about two hours, but nothing really took our eye. We found the biggest mackerel of all time though. It was in a fish mongers store and it would have been at least 45 cm wide across the back. I ended up buying two fishing lures while I was there, which made getting off the boat ...
