... perfect landing was at 150mph, smooth as silk. Jan & I were seated 40J & 40L almost the last seats with a couple of short young obnoxious people in front of us. They reclined their seats leaving us no room for our legs. [not that we are complaining]... We had dinner on board by 7pm & two snacks, slept 3ish hours, and were not refreshed when we arrived in Rome. The flight arrived right on time in Rome at 6:45am local .

Heading North again. From Utica, we cycled to Pulaski, which was about 100km. Very hilly. We are, however, slowly feeling the product of our hard work: sores are not as painful and our legs are getting stronger. We headed toward the locks on the Erie Canal. We first had to lock through 7 locks in Oswego off of Lake Ontario to begin our journey down the Erie Canal.
