Our cruising companions have decided to forego the Lake Seneca side trip and head up to Oswego to continue their loop across Lake Ontario to Canada and the Trent Severn Waterway. We left our dock at Lock 23 and locked through together one last time. We parted ways at Canal Junction, Gray Fox going north and Meander going south and west. We'll miss their company along the way.

Our first day of driving we made it to Grand Junction, Colorado. It was a spectacular drive with mountain vistas, canyons, mesas and the longest stretch of highway in the lower 48 without services.
