... of the Paleo Frourio, an old Venetian fort. That was pretty cool. Then, late this afternoon we went through the Archaeological Museum. We didn't spend much time here since it was close to closing time and we were all tired from the water park.
That evening though we ate at our first authentic Greek taverna, we found one playing Greek music ...
... chocolate-chocolate covered pretzels from my parents. Thanks mom and dad! (See? Again, I wanted to say mum and dad. I think I'm becoming an ex-pat. Oh, brother.)
The weather for the first two days was frigid. Down-right blustery. It's all anybody on the ship could talk about. Apparently we all were hoodwinked by the weathermen on that one. But finally today, the sun came out to visit and it was a pretty day. And tomorrow's high is expected to be 76 degrees in Athens ...
... straight for the cable car queue. The compromise (after Robyn found out the cable car queue was an hour’s wait) was a donkey ride up the zig zag path. Robyn only just got on her donkey before it took off at full speed. Olivia was on next and much to Mitchell’s disgust the guy lifted him straight off his feet and planted him behind her as a pillion passenger. Next was Chris’s ride with Ryan planted in front of him. Their donkey ...

I ordered about 4 meze each there was so much yummy food we had local sausage, cheese pies, saganaki of course, meatballs, fried shrimps and salad, tziki, break and wine all for 30 euro. We then went for a walk to the Listern its a street made of marble and all bars with seating along it where the people who want to be seen go so we sat there and watched the people walking past all glamourous ladys in amazing shoes and clothes its a cool place Corfu town.
Corfu Town, Ionian Islands, Greece traceybelle... But it was a lot of fun when we got there (although so dodgy, no long pants or gloves or safety talk or anything) and think I was champion of the girls ha.
After that just went and sat on the beach and chatted to people and enjoyed the niceness of it all. Was such a cute place and a lovely night. And we spent our last night sleeping on the boats which was very sad because we'd had such an amazing time. But no time to be sad cause next morning we were off to Athens!
... driver, decided to take us on the scenic route along the Amalfi coastline. He'd never bused along there before but had been told it was absolutely beautiful so decided to check it out. However, we think that whoever told him to go along the coastline didn't realise he'd be driving a bus... It took the better part of 4 hours to do what should have probably been a one hour trip - every corner we reached we had to reverse and turn, reverse and turn, just to get around ...
Corfu Town, Ionian Islands, Greece t_lee... they spend a lot of time relaxing, because they live on an island. I have only one dislike. The water was too cold and dirty for my taste, but there are a lot of swimming pools around, so I didn't need to swim in the open. This journey was a fun journey and I will never forget it.

... is a good thing because theyºre sooo friendly and love to exercise their right to freedom of speech. One particular little Irish lass has suggested that I rename my bike from the HMS Fartaker to ºFionaª (hi Fiona). Iºm a little unsure about this one and will hand the decision over to a panel of experts (you guys). Give me some feedback. I had an interesting night last night. Drinking in the same bar as a bus load of Contiki travellers. The intoxicated tour guide decided to amuse ...
Dassia, Greece goldenbez... up the next day from a fat man with a greedy hands. He wanted to see me ride it from the villa agency, to prove to him that I wasn't a great liability. It was a brand new red scooter with automatic transmission and was pretty fast off the mark. He told me it was 80cc but later someone else said it was only 50. Once satisfied that I could ride it properly he took me off to his agency, without an explanation of where we were going. The only thing he could say in English ...
