First stop was the railway station where we had been told we could get a sim card for Stacey's phone to allow us to communicate with each other if need be. At this stage we did not have a city map and I was quite pleased with myself that we found our way to the station with ease. This is my fifth visit to ...

... by Joe and Roseanne, who we met their by chance, called Alla Vecchia Bettola on the corner of Viale Vasco Pratolini. We began with the classic melon and prosciutto. Good start with the fresh taste of the melon and its juice balanced by the salty chewiness of the prosciutto. Anita had penne pasta with chilli tomato sauce that had been highly recommended on the internet and really enjoyed it. I tasted it and though it was good. We both thought it ...

Maybe. But I really think I have grown a lot. I like me, I think I'm pretty damn cool. I was stuck in a rut for a long time and tried to convince myself that I ...

... Italy). The old stuff is the better stuff while their new **** is ...just ****. History says that the shops used to be butcher shops. The butchers would dress the meat and then throw the **** into the river, as you do. Apparently, Florence had a new ruler who wanted to live on side of the river but had his offices on the other side of the river arno. He did't like the smell of the butcher shops ...

... around Florence and find a gelato shop. I found one, didn't realize they were € 10 each ! ! Ripped off as they were only 3/4 full. The shop was crowded and Womby was somewhere taking pictures so had to wrestle two gelatos and money and no English, but enjoyed the coolness of the icecresam. Not a bad life to be struggling with Gelaties in Florence I guess ! Xxx
