      ... the well-preserved medieval church of Santa Maria Antica. We then visited the beautiful Church of Sant'Anastasia followed by the Duomo of Verona. Unlike so many of the churches we have visited throughout Europe, the interior of these churches felt warm and inviting due to the sepia tones of the Veronese stone used in construction.       ... cheese, and had a tasting with some wine. Everything here includes wine! I won't complain.


      Next was the balsamic vinegar factory in Modena. Best balsamic in the world! But if you taste it on just spoons, wow...not good. I said it tasted a mixture of honey and black licorice. Strange and not good. However, the white vinegar was soooo good, if you've never tried it, I highly recommend!
