    Each day we took Ronaldo out and explored a new village, found somewhere cute for lunch and a glass of the local wine or 5 ( hey, I wasn't driving !!! )
    Some of the villages castles were in ruins, some totally renovated , one even turned into an historic hotel .... Castello Nuovo. We had a look at the suites, complete with the original beds for the Italian royal ...

    ... me. Nice again the sun was shining and it was another glorious day in Italy and the views breathtaking or maybe it was the winding hilly hairpins and cliff sides that took my breath away!!!

    ... for lunch in an authentic Italian cafe with great rustic Italian food. It is like an old school bar, while you are drinking they serve complimentary food, pizza, savoury pastries, crisps etc, just plain .old fashion customer service. For lunch we ordered Spaghetti Bol and vanilla bean gelato for dessert. Ummm sorry Ben and Jerry's but I am now converted to Italian Gelato, absolutely yummy.
