    ... Having only been there for two days the thing I had noticed most is that Italians eat...a lot! Each meal has 3 courses at least, and we had pasta at least once a day. Simply put I was in heaven! Then it was an early night for all to prepare for the weekend.     ... get mixed up!!!!

    Then I was left with the girls, talk about being thrown in at the deep end! Laura and Giorgio would be home at 12.30 for us all to have lunch together downstairs with Nonna (grandma) but it was still quite a shock to the system.

    I unpacked a little...basically I took my pyjamas out of the case and then lay in bed wondering what on earth I had let myself in for...

    ... that same touristy feel as somewhere like Bruges, and somehow still retains charm and feels so unselfconscious, largely just going about its day to day business. It was also great having the local knowledge and benefit of introductions afforded to us by Fabio and Simona.
