    I'm trying to decide – what do you need and not need in life …

    I had a tooth filling fall out a couple of weeks ago. Kept meaning to go & see a dentist but finally got around to it today … I had been told the name of a dentist who spoke some English, not sure how much, who would be happy to see me.

    So I headed off on my bike … following the wonderful Google maps (& Here.com which is what I have on my Nokia phone.)

The apartment was a little difficult to find at first as it was down a small alley off the lake front and we had to park the car at the top of the hill about a five minute walk away.     ... in Italy, the people would be busy doing their other stuff all day, and at 2pm, the time becomes time to dedicate to their friend, so they will then begin to get ready, and might arrive at the café at 2.30 or 3pm. This is very normal and expected, so perhaps it's easier to arrange a time half an hour earlier than you actually want to meet with an Italian!
