Fast sail all the way over to Otranto and even had the fun of Dolphins playing at the helm. Busy shipping lanes overnight kept us all on our toes and Eric plenty of time to practise his lights. Winds were so favourable we headed on South to M.Saint Di Leuca still arriving by 3pm in time for a cocktail on shore before getting Ellis already for next early departure ...

She will also become very close friends with Marco as she drives with him (and the luggage) from city ...

... those trulli we had been seeing. As with the first two days, we again had gorgeous weather. It has been sunny and about 75 to 80 each day. Just spectacular. It cools off at night, so we need light sweaters by dinner time. Feels just like summer at home! We stopped in Copertino after an hour or so, picked up some fresh strawberries, tomatoes, a boule and some local cheeses and sausage. Back on our bikes to head to Nardo. We ...

... refusing to convert to Islam in 1480. Their skulls are preserved behind glass in the church. The painting of the beheadings is eerily similar to the recent beheadings we have seen on TV from ISIL and is a reminder that history has a tendency to repeat itself.
