      Anyway, there was mother and it's baby that stayed right with the boat. They were so beautiful I had the urge to jump off the boat and swim with them. I really had to restrain myself, as the urge was really very very intense. I just wanted to touch them. LOL. But thanks to my parents good sense that was knocked into me as a kid, I didn't.       ... named after the beach we were sitting at: Playa Jardin which contained egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese and pineapple - seriously worth a try if you are ever in Tenerife. Came with fries as well so went for a long walk afterwards to walk a little of it off but finished up with an ice cream - such a holiday thing to do!

      ... unable to work out what time it was. I tried to be optimistic that this wasn't a sign of San Fran's continual edging towards a chasm of uselessness but I had to admit he was getting less and less reliable. A saunter back to our apartment allowed us to take in the night life one last time as unfortunately we return home tomorrow.

      ... thing that is worth a mention is the Katandra Treetops. This is an aviary which you walk around on swinging bridges above the treetops. Around you fly dozens of species of birds including yet more parrots. Not usually a fan of being up close and personal with animals but this wasn't too intense as they didn't fly at you. A must for anyone visiting the park, unless you have a bird phobia, then stay well away!
