... well ...<br><br>The Train arrived .. almost on time .. which was a bonus really at the 2pm one arrived at 4pm!!<br><br>When i got onto the train i was on an upper sleeper .. which was fun cos i had to try to get my pack and then myself up onto this top sleeper bit ... not easy .. it also didnt help with a lot of locals laughing at me quite ungracefully swinging my leg up and over the guard rail!!!<br><br>So that was yesterday!!<br><br> c xxx

... outside there...!! We head back to our shack and as there is no window or electricity we have no choice but to leave the door open for light and guess what...within minutes they are all outside our door again!!<br><br>Ah well...finally ready, I head to brush my teeth in the outside sink with the mirror attached to a tree and head for food!! We eat with Dominic and Jack from the night before but retire early as Carolyn has a dive at 9am!!<br>

... much a Muslim community so women (and young girls) are dressed extremely conservatively... but I thought since we were going to a tourist resort I could get away with a bikini.......well this turned out to be a little awkward. We get to the resort and it was pretty deserted... we head to the pool area and the only other people there are 4 young Muslim women...... fully clothed....pants, tops, berkas...... in the pool. ... tails are quite deadly. We saw a couple of snakes too, one of them made me jump out of my skin when it leaped up out of the plant pot beside the toilets yesterday. The other one was busy eating a gecko, so he wasn't moving anywhere fast, we gawped at him for some time. ... out late talking with Peter and Kersti. We even saw on our last night a guy juggling with fire. All very hippy, smelling weed from every corner from 11am onwards..It was fun to chase the lizards from the balcony. Some were quite big and there was no way one could get into our room! <br><br><br>09/03/09: Time to get the boat back to Kota Bharu, getting yourself in the water with your bag on a tiny boat which would bring you to a bigger ...

... can't they walk that far?! At Kota Bharu bus station I felt very out of place as it is a muslim city and every woman had their head covered and most were in silk, loose fitting, floral outfitsand even those in jeans wore very loose, high necked tops. I was having trouble finding somewhere to enquire after buses to Wakaf Bharu and a taxi driver was doing his best to convince me there were no buses and that 20 RM was a reasonable fayre ...

Bus journey turned out to be a bit of nightmare - no only the lack of leg room but also the fact that it stopped all through the night every 45 min or so to pick up people. Each time doing so by whacking on all the lights, music and walking up and down the bus taking ...

... små...samme små, tette øyene, finnene og skummelt utsend. Videre var vi rundt på forskjellige steder, et av de stedene som var finest var Turtle Bay. Her kommer skilpaddene opp å legger egg...før kunne en være her ute å se på når ungene kom ut, men etter at turistene ikke klarte å oppføre seg skikkelig ble det forbudt...og heldigvis for det! Perhentian var en av de mest behagelige av alle stoppestedene vi hadde på turen :-)

... we find a guide who does a shorter trip for less people and same money. We see 3 sharks at shark point, and a huge school of fish feeding on coral at coral point, but at Coral beach we see turtles. It was the last stop and was quite exhausting to be chasing around the turtles as they are swimming quite deep eating seaweeds on the see floor. We cruise on the boats till we see a "rock shape" and we all dive in, searching for the ...
