    ... quicker than you can boil some pasta (ummm, pasta, with pesto and broccoli and sweat corn). We went to a bar which was owned by a scuba school, it had a lot of outdoor seats with pillows so big they eat you up when you leaned back into them, and even better, they played a film on their outdoor projector (the bar, not the pillows). It was so nice, just as the sun set over the sea, you could relax/ be eaten by these massive pillows and watch a film in an outdoor cinema and ...

    ... the seat. Esther was very sad to be leaving the beautiful paradise islands, they were absolutely perfect and it would have been lush to spend more the there, but I was pretty excited to be on my way to the big cities and all the architecture!!

    On our way from the port to our hotel in Kota Bharu the heavens opened and rain hammered down and it pretty much continued for the whole evening - looked like we left the Perhentians at the right time after all! ...

    ... too deep and we avoided a trip back to the mainland for stitches. A quick wash of water, apply pressure with some tissue, and finally apply germaline - all sorted. Calm was retored, but not for long..."what the f**k ahhhh, two f**king bats just flew into the room!!"
