... to wait for the room to be ready. Once it was ready we were eager to see what it was like. It was nothing luxury but no worse than anything we had stayed in before. But what made it a thousand times better was the big balcony with a view over the entire bay. By far the best budget accommodation on the island. The rest of the day was spent enjoying the beach and the crystal clear sea. We had completely got used to the busy beach by now and really loved coral bay now. Long ...

Nath had to hold my hand at the start as I nearly got bowled over a couple of times, but once I got the hang of jumping into the wave I was ok. I see this as a real accomplishment (not for normal people, normal people can just get in the sea and not be a baby about it) as a couple of months ago there would be no way in hairy hell I would have gotten in that sea, but now I was kind ...

... the sunbathing so took a stroll all the way down to the rocky end of the beach, harassed some sizeable crabs, and then wandered back up, hoping I would catch a bit of sun whilst walking. I found Dan sunbathing in the shallows of the bath...I mean sea (sea here also ridiculously warm - according to Dan's dive watch a balmy 33C) so joined him to (kind of) cool down a bit. After another round of sunbathing (for Dan) and shade-bathing (for me) ...
