One of the best things about Bodrum is the fascinating underwater discovery museum, housed in a castle overlooking the blue waters. In this museum, we were treated to viewing artifacts from Greek shipwrecks from 500 years BC and onward. ... we passed through some mountains and got closer to the coast the towns became more prosperous with huge resorts at the entrance to Bodrum which is a big tourist town. It's pretty empty at the moment and we are the only people at the small boutique hotel where we are staying.

The temperature is about 18 degrees and it looks stormy tonight!

... a freshly made tomato sauce, and rice. OK, so it seems lunch is not quite the spread experienced at dinner. One must pace themselves, but I think they have their timing of calories a bit backward. Perhaps I need to educate them in the prudence of consumption as follows: breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper. Perhaps better stated in Turkey as: breakfast like a sultan, lunch like the mother of a sultan and dinner like a eunuch.
