Visited with my lovely Sri Lankan friends - the whole family was home and Samantha ( college student coming off weird hours for exam prep) even got up to greet me. And Dylan and Ryan so 'grown up' now. Sanjiv and Nyanja ( sp?/ my apologies ) both looking well and no older despite the 8-9 yr. passed!!! It actually wasn't too bad at all and as we really thought about the situation, we realized that we were thankful for a few things: 1 - we are thankful that we caught the "noise" before getting on the road and risked breaking down and 2 - we were thankful to spend another day with family who we only get to see once a year anyway. All in all, it was a good day....

      Until tomorrow....

Hoping that the vent stack incident was not an indicator of our trip to ...

... night. The cabin had been made by his grandfather in the late 1800s and the floors were all crooked and the building was really old but it was pretty awesome. The water on site was sulphuric so although it was totally clean and good to drink, it smelled like the strongest rotten egg smell you could ever imagine. Showering was a little tricky with that stench but luckily it was a great shower so it evened out. The night was quiet and warm so we slept ...

We are back to the 4 campers that we began with. The others left on Saturday and Sunday morning. We decided to go into the town of Vidalia to see the movie Gravity. We ate dinner at Ruby Tuesday's which was directly in front of the theater. We walked to the theater and apparently looked like we were not locals. Maybe it was because we were all in shorts and flip flops.

      While waiting on ...
