... There are a couple things I'd still like to see in Istria before we head to Italy tomorrow but it would have been much easier if we still had our car. We wandered up to the bus station to check on transportation to Brijuni National Park. We decide that we are just too spent to make it happen and opt instead for a local bus to a beach across town. We were thinking of renting a beach chair and umbrella, ordering a drink and relaxing and ...

    What a Wonderful Drive

We decided to catch breakfast and coffee once we are out of the busy part of Zadar and the next thing we knew we were on the toll road, buzzing toward Rijeka. The toll roads here have elaborate rest stops with facilities you can access without leaving the system. So we see something that looks like it has coffee and we head for it. It has coffee and so much more...a full-on cafeteria with some pretty delicious looking pastries. Looks like plenty of other ...

Got up early today and headed out of fažana today with some great direction via Ivan ( gonna miss that guy ) to see the roman colosseum in pula today as well as many more roman era sites in the town. Pula is a busy city of about 70,000 with a huge history dating back over 3000 years. The colosseum is the obvious major draw here and it's clear why... The arena is in better shape than its much more famous sister in Rome although it's still in use...they were setting up ...

... We had to go and ask lots of people but nobody had heard of it. Eventually we found it down a farm track. The villa is lovely with table tennis, badminton, a pool and 4 separate bedrooms. Jacob and I tried out the pool even though it is really cold. It was the coldest water I have ever swam in. Afterwards we needed a hot shower and turned the heating on in the ...

    Malinska/Krk Island

    ... past.

Then we found a restaurant for dinner and there are about 20 adults dancing drunk to music.
But it was awesome dub step music, I loved it.

This is probably my favorite walk through town so far. I'm liking this place a lot.

We spent today driving to a small town on this island.
It had a small narrow old town ...
