... I have ever previously flown long haul was with Emirates. Who are amazing, what with their food and drinks service and unlimited films. Jetstar were pitiful in comparison. No food, unless you bought it on the plane, or beforehand, costing an arm and a leg. No drinks service, not even just water, I had stomach cramps due to dehydration. As for inflight entertainment, you could pay extra to watch movies on Ipads. I instead managed to pass an eleven hour flight by writing, doing Sudoku ...

Thursday 3rd April Today we set off to Universal Studios on Sentosa Island. We had a brilliant day there visiting shows and going on rides. After some stressful moments and begging at a convenience store to have our two American dollars exchanged for the value of the bus ride, we managed to get our ride to the border even though we were some cents short.
