    Fenway Park and Freedom Trail

A travel blog entry by carmandy on Oct 20, 2014

Great day today. Did a tour of one of the oldest baseball parks in the US, Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Socks. They are very passionate about their team and this historic ground where the scoreboard is still operated manually by 3 men sitting behind it. Visited the locker rooms, bleachers, the media stands, the green "monstar" seats (which is a big green wall above the scoreboard where they have put 268 seats) and lastly the ...

Not a good start to our morning or journey from Boston to Chicago. Got woken at 5am with the sound of hotel fire alarm but no announcement. No on knew exactly what to do. By the time we through some valuables in a bag the all clear was announced. Got back into bed and 10 minutes later the same announcement came over the PA. A little annoying to say the least. Got a cab to the airport and on our arrival as we got out ...

Got them home that night to find they were too small. Then onto the hop on hop off bus that dropped us at The Boston Tea Party Ships and Tea Rooms. Went inside to a nice dining area for a ...

"Sorry 'bout the delay folks, but it is Friday night in Boston!" We write this from the midtown hotel in Boston. We are currently lying together in a bed too small for two people, yet very spacey for one. The second, identical bed is still made up, but I think that one of us will be crawling into it soon... What a mad day! I'm writing this at 10.30pm eastern time, which is 3.30am gmt. We left nice and early from our house 15 hours ago. The ...

Arrived into Boston on Saturday afternoon and have spent the majority of time getting prepared for this weeks study and tidying up some work. The one stroll yesterday coincided with Boston's hosting of an animation conference, which was an invitation for every teenager to get dressed up in an ...
