... The caverns were magnificent, some nearly as big as a football field. Ice on the floors, walls, even an ice tunnel which we had to clamber through. No photos were allowed, so the picture is one from a postcard. One where I was particularly proud of myself for not freaking out! Dont do well underground, or tight spaces. We were 1km within the mountain, and 400m underground, and at that point, climbing DOWN the ice tunnel. ...

Laura is leaving for Germany today for her school ...

A couple of them landed on the lawn, then hopped through the crowd to ...

We caught the train to Kitzbuhel and said goodbye to Saltzburg. The ride is a couple of hours long and the route bypasses Germany, and so does a long loop around the mountains. Even so, the mountains along the route were pretty spectacular in places, with some narrow valleys. The country along the way is hilly, with lots of little villages. When we arrived at the ...

... theme park with amusements. The best fun was had on the trampolines and climbing walls. Got soaked in a water ride before we left for the hotel. Every Wednesday night during the summer there is entertainment in the town centre. We went after dinner even though it was pouring rain. Traditional Austrian band on stage but we didn't stay ...
